Coach Taylor was the first coach we brought on staff when we opened in 2017. You’ll be hard pressed to find someone who has more zeal for life and passion for helping people than Coach Taylor. He truly never meets a stranger. Taylor is a continuous fitness student and is always looking for ways to grow and improve as an athlete and a coach. He is a CrossFit L2 trainer and has many other certifications under his belt.
We asked him a few questions so we can get to know a little more about him.
1) What is one interesting fact most people don’t know about you?
I’m a super, huge nerd: I played DnD with your Dad in Star Trek suits while we argued about who would win in a fight between Darkside and Galactus.
2) Why do you love coaching?
Watching people take their “Recess Time” back day by day, growing in fitness, and learning new things that their body can do always always always makes me super happy!! There is a whole other side of you waiting to be unlocked!
3) What is your favorite workout or movement in the gym?
Strict Pull Up. The classic test of defying gravity through your own muscles. You have to want it and earn it.
