Head Coach April Pendegraph started her CrossFit career in the summer of 2012 but she’s been involved in the health and fitness industry for much longer. As a high school athlete she was on the soccer, golf, competitive dance, and cheerleading teams. She then played soccer collegiately as well as a being a member of the college dance team.
After college April became a personal trainer and taught Pilates for eight years. During this time she also became a licensed massage therapist specializing in sports therapeutic massage. After having 2 children she began competing in Figure and Fitness competitions.
After the birth of her third child she started training for endurance running and has completed 8 full marathons, 25 half marathons, and countless 5K races. She also became a running coach for the Fleet Feet No Boundaries program.
In 2012 April discovered CrossFit and quickly became a top level fitness athlete winning multiple competitions and becoming a CrossFit L1 and CrossFit Endurance Coach. She has been coaching for 4 years and enjoys providing a fun training atmosphere and helping her athletes discover they can do far more than they ever thought possible.
Since 2014 April has made Powerlifting the focus of her own training and in 2016 won a gold medal at the United States Powerlifting National Championships in Las Vegas, Nevada.
When she’s not at the gym, you can find her at the ballfields supporting her 3 boys at their various sporting events.
